Quest Q-Jet D16 Black Max Complete 2-Motor Launch Pack

The Quest Q-Jets represent the most advanced 18mm model rocket engines globally. These high-performance composite propellant motors utilise a solid propellant similar to that used in NASA's Space Shuttle Boosters, military missiles, sounding rockets, and NASA's upcoming SLS moon rocket. They feature a patent-pending polymer case and bulkhead with exceptional strength, a ceramic nozzle, and RCSs exclusive Black Max aerospace-grade composite propellant formulation. This unique formulation yields nearly double the specific impulse (ISP), which is a measure of propellant efficiency when compared to traditional black powder propellants. Unlike black powder motors, they are not affected by thermal cycling. The Q-Jet engines provide quicker liftoffs, a visible exhaust plume, denser dark tracking smoke, and increased reliability during launch.
