Loc Insta-Set

INSTA-SET serves as a catalyst for super glue, accelerating the curing process of Cyanoacrylate Super Glues in thick layers by improving the alkaline conditions during polymerization. When used from a spray bottle, INSTA-SET is commonly applied to solidify excess CA that emerges from joints upon assembly. Strengthening a joint significantly can be achieved by applying a line of thick CA along a seam and then using INSTA-SET as a catalyst to cure it. For challenging materials to bond, one surface can be treated with INSTA-SET while the opposite surface is treated with CA; upon joining, an immediate bond forms. INSTA-SET features a pleasant strawberry fragrance and triggers the curing of CA within 6 to 8 seconds without compromising its strength, unlike many other accelerators. It is suitable for use on all surfaces, including clear plastic and white foam materials.
