Part of the ADVANCED SERIES kits, the 5.38 V2 is a sport scale model of the well-known WWII German V2 rocket. This kit features a factory pre-slotted tail cone and through-the-wall fin construction. It is equipped with a 38mm motor mount and is compatible with motors ranging from H-180 to J-570 (for 29mm motors, an optional MMA-2 adapter is needed). The 5.38 V2 performs well with various motor configurations from Level 1 to Level 2. To enhance durability during flights, we have improved the shock cord to 25 feet of 9/16" tubular nylon and included a CEC-2 chain connector for heavy-duty flying Parachute Recovery on the SCM3 shock cord mount.
