These advanced model rocket engines, which use a composite propellant, are designed for high performance. They share the solid propellant technology with NASA's Space Shuttle Boosters, military missiles, sounding rockets, and NASA's upcoming SLS moon rocket. These engines feature a patented high-strength polymer casing and bulkhead, along with a polymer nozzle and RCSs that contain the exclusive Black Max aerospace-grade composite propellant formula. This unique formula results in a visible black exhaust plume and denser dark tracking smoke. Black Max engines offer greater thrust compared to White Lightning engines with the same total impulse, making them ideal for achieving high lift-off acceleration.
