Quest Q-Jet Black Max Multi-Motor Value Pack (A3-4/B4-4/C12-6/D16-6)

Quest Q-Jets represent the most advanced 18mm model rocket motors globally. These high-performance Q-Jet composite propellant model rocket motors utilise a solid propellant similar to that used in NASA's Space Shuttle Boosters, military missiles, sounding rockets, and NASA's upcoming SLS moon rocket. They are housed in a patent-pending polymer case and bulkhead with a ceramic nozzle and RCSs exclusive Black Max aerospace-grade composite propellant formulation. This formulation results in an almost double specific impulse compared to traditional black powder propellants. Unlike black powder motors, they are not affected by changes in temperature. Q-Jet rocket motors offer quicker take-offs, visible exhaust plumes, denser dark tracking smoke, and increased reliability during lift-off.
