This module has an elongated closure and features a durable glow-plug ignition system for the ejection charge, which removes the necessity for single-use devices like electric matches typically used in alternative electronic deployment systems. The unit is shielded by a sturdy anodized aluminum casing to safeguard it from physical impacts and exposure to residue from the ejection charge. Additionally, it has an integrated holder capable of storing up to 3 grams of black powder or other pyrotechnic materials for the ejection charge.
